paint brushes?
Does anyone know of a way that i can keep my paint brush wet with paint in between times when i'm not using it? Sometimes i dont need it for a couple weeks but cleaning then out everytime is such a pain in the neck. Does anybody have or use anything that will keep the shape of the brush, keep it clean, and keep it wet for a couple weeks at a time?

- I've personally never done this but I saw on a home improvment show if you wrap the brush in aluminum foil it keeps the paint moist. I dont' knwo about two weeks but a few days for sure.
- wrap your paint brush in plastic wrap and keep it in the freezer.
- With latex, I usually wrap the brush with a wet rag. Of course I only do this for overnight. I don't know how long you can keep doing this. I assume as long as you keep the rag wet all the time. This also works for enamel.
- Many times I suspend the brush in a glass of water if the brush is for latex and a glass of paint thinner if the brush is oil based paint. I have kept them like this for weeks. I usually drill a hole through the handle near the metal banding and stick a stiff piece of wire through it so the bristles are in the liquid.
